Green at its most alive is never only one thing. Malachite has been worn as a stone of protection and power across many cultures and many centuries, because the depth of its green has always evoked exactly that kind of strength. Beveled Glass is the other side of the same color world, found in the palest and most translucent greens on the board. This is the green of light moving through frosted glass rather than stopping at a surface, the green of sea glass and crystal and the quiet edges of water. Where Vivid Green is abundance at full volume, Beveled Glass is abundance that has settled into clarity and stillness. Prehnite holds this softer green and carries the same underlying energy as Malachite, expressed as calm rather than as force.
Taken together, these two greens tell the complete story of what this color world means to me. They are the vivid and the translucent, the saturated and the clear, abundance expressed as vitality alongside abundance expressed as stillness. Both of them are green and both of them are completely real.
